"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Once upon a time...over a year ago a 13-year-old girl discovered a site that she believed would help fulfil her (pipe) dream of being an artist. Months passed and after many days of practice on anatomy, introduction to a device called a wacom tablet, and its compainion, Photoshop. The art got better and better.
